Best MLB Prop Bets: Top MLB Prop Bets for September 15th

Lance Lynn looks to return to form and help the White Sox cash as part of our Top MLB Prop Bets for September 15th

Sometimes it just isn’t your night, and last night that was the case for us. The Orioles did take care of business against the Washington Nationals, but it took until the 7th inning for their bats to wake up and get things going so the 1st Half Result fell short there. Despite Andrew McCutchen’s career dominance over Adam Wainwright, it was Waino who got the upper hand last night with Cutch going 0-4 in a 4-1 loss to the Cardinals. Not a whole lot of games on the slate with just 8, but we do have some value to be had so check out the sportsbook welcome offers below. Onto Brian and I’s Top MLB Prop Bets for September 15th.

White Sox 1st Half Result (-105, FanDuel) vs Guardians

As I White Sox fan, I really feel like I’m taking the bait here again, but taking the emotion out of it I really like this bet. The White Sox are throwing Lance Lynn who after a rough start thanks to rehabbing a knee injury, has been lights out for the last few weeks. He’s got 8 quality starts in his last 10 outings, two of which were against the Guardians.

In those two starts against Cleveland he tossed 11.2 IP allowing just 1 ER with a 12/2 K/BB ratio. Hunter Gaddis is the man on the bump for Cleveland in a spot start and he was rocked to the tune of 8 ER in 3.1 IP in his only start this season. The Guardians have won 6 in a row, but the Sox have been playing well since Tony La Russa’s leave of absence as well. Give me the Sox early in this one.

Carlos Carrasco Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-130, PointsBet)

Cookie got devoured upon returning from another IL stint against Washington on September 4th but returned to form his last time out in Miami. In that start, Carrasco went 6 innings, throwing just 74 pitches while allowing a single run and striking out 6. His task gets even easier tonight against a Pirates team that is scoring the 4th fewest runs/gm and who has struck out the 2nd most times on the season.

Carlos had gone over this K prop in FIVE of his previous seven starts before leaving early in Atlanta and should be allowed to go deeper into the game. He isn’t a strikeout pitcher by any means, but the opponent and their unfamiliarity with him, increase the probability of this going over. It’s a small slate of games tonight and I think this prop warrants being added to our list of Top MLB Prop Bets for September 15th.
