Nascar is headed to “The Tricky Trangle” Pocono Raceway for this Sunday’s M&M’s Fan Appreciation 400. Check out our quick race preview and a few drivers I’m keeping an eye on as we approach the practice and qualifying.

  • M&M’s Fan Appreciation 400 in Long Pond, Pennsylvania
  • The green flag drops Sunday, July 24th at 3 pm et
  • 160 laps at “The Tricky Triangle” Pocono Raceway which is literally a giant triangle with long straightaways and very low banking corners. The closest tracks in comparison are Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which we last ran in 2020, Michigan, and Auto Club.

  • Pocono hosted its first race back in 1974 and Nascar has come here twice a season since 1982
  • Toyota has dominated Pocono in the last 10 races winning 7 of them
