College Basketball PrizePicks Props of the Day: Sweet 16 Friday

Tyger UCLA NCAAB

What a night in college basketball. Two more no.1 seeds were knocked out and Duke move past Texas Tech continuing what might be a dream season to end Coach K’s career. Yesterday our PrizePicks props looked great as each game went to half, but 2nd halves were our demise. Rasir Bolton needed 4 points, Caleb Houstan 1 rebound, and Kevin Obanor also just 4 points, and none of them could get there. Amazingly, the only prop we hit was an under (I hate unders) with Kerr Kriisa as Arizona got physically dominated by Houston. Welp, there are four more games tonight during Sweet 16 Friday and I have four more player props. Here are my props of the night.

Props of the Day – Sweet 16 Friday

Daryl Banks III (G, 15 St. Peter’s) vs. 3 Purdue – Over/Under 9.5 Points

Strut your stuff! The Peacocks are one of the most improbable Sweet 16 participants in recent memory. They got on the shoulders of the “team” and Banks has been key part of that. He exploded for a career high of 27 points against Kentucky and now gets the horrid defense of Purdue. The Boilermakes are huge inside and St. Peter’s will have to push the pace to keep up with them. Guards like Daryl will be a heavy part of the game plan.
Over 9.5 Points

Nate Watson (C, 4 Providence) vs. 1 Kansas – Over/Under 12.5 Points

I love big Nate but he’s been struggling over the teams last seven games. He’s scored over 12 points just once during this stretch and has been held to single digits three times. Tonight he and Friars go up against a very aggressive Kansas team who’ll has their own big man in David McCormick so nothing will come easy inside.
Under 12.5 Points

Tyger Campbell (G, 4 UCLA) vs. 8 North Carolina – Over/Under 4 Assists

This is a no brainer to me regardless of Jaime Jaquez’s status. Campbell has really turned it on over the last couple of weeks and the team is rolling. Tyger has at least 4 assists in seven of his last eight games and faces a UNC team surrendering almost 13 assists per game (320th). This is the evenings most intriguing matchup and should provide some fireworks.
Over 4 Assists

Kameron McGusty (G, 10 Miami) vs. 11 Iowa State – Over/Under 17.5 Points

Miami has returned to their December and early January form. They’ve now won five of their last six games and just rolled Auburn by 18. They’ve done so riding one of the nations top backcourts led by McGusty. He’s quietly been AMAZING this year and over his last 13 games is scoring 17.6 points a night. Kameron is taking over 14 shots per game and has produced 20+ points in two of his last three contests. Yes, Iowa State has a pesky defense but they’re not great defending the 2fg and allowed teams to shoot over 50% inside. McGusty is killing it from here shooting over 54% for the season and has shown take over ability.
Over 17.5 Points
