Burnley also has a game with a team in the top-6 in the standings on the schedule so Leeds doesn’t absolutely have to get a result here, but it would certainly be a massive boost to their hopes of staying up. Leeds took it on the chin against Manchester City and Arsenal in their last two games, but prior to that they’d seen an uptick in play under newly appointed manager Jesse Marsch. It’s been a slog for Chelsea as of late as they’ve won just one of their last five fixtures entering this contest. They’re still a much better team than Leeds, but expect the Elland Road crowd to give Leeds a boost similar to what Everton’s home crowd did in their 1-0 win over Chelsea last weekend.

Leeds goals allowed numbers are eye-popping, but also misleading. They have been better under Marsch than they were under Marcelo Bielsa this season, but they still aren’t a good defensive team. Expect them to come out flying with the passionate home fans behind them, but Chelsea is just too talented to be denied also. This could be a really fun, back-and-forth game with tons of stakes and drama.
