No baseball yesterday thanks to rain washing away the attempt at Game 5 in the Bronx, so we get two on Tuesday. The Yankees and Guardians will hopefully finally settle that series with an afternoon game followed by the Phillies and Padres kicking off the NLCS in San Diego with a great pitching matchup.

Aaron Judge HR (+255, FanDuel)
The big man has looked much more comfortable the last two games in Cleveland. He smashed a 450 foot bomb in game 3, and just missed another dinger in game 4. He’s clearly seeing the ball a bit better, and his timing is almost back.
Today he and the Yankees see Aaron Civale to begin the game and the Yankees crushed him this season. Civale made 2 starts against New York and over 9 combined innings allowed 11 Hits, 6 HR, and 10 total ER during them. Judge is just 3-for-13 over his career against his Aaron counterpart but all 3 of those hits are for extra bases with one being a HR that came this season.
Aaron is always a threat to go yard and we’ve seen him show up big in big games before. The number is longer here than at any other sportsbook and definitely worth adding to your card and as one of our Top MLB Prop Bets for October 18th.
Guardians vs Yankees ALDS Game 5 Betting Preview
Rhys Hoskins Over 0.5 RBI (+168, Caesars)
Both the Padres and the Phillies have been hitting really well so far in the playoffs, especially Philadelphia averaging 6 runs per game in the NLDS against the Braves. They’ve had contributors up and down they lineup, but the guy I’m going with tonight is Rhys Hoskins to drive in a run against the Padres.
Hoskins had himself a phenomenal finish to the NLDS to close out the Braves going 3-for-10 with 4 RBI and a Home Run. Tonight the Phillies oppose Yu Darvish who in his last start against the Dodgers was just ok allowing 3 HR (fortunately for him they were all solo) and 3 ER over 5.1 Innings against the Dodgers. Hoskins has fared well against Darvish in his career going 6-for-16 with 2 2B, a Home Run and 3 RBI with an OPS of 1.132.
Hoskins was big for Philly in closing out the Braves, at +168 lets hope he stays got going into the NLCS against the Padres tonight in Game 1. His current hitting success along with the long odds made this a no-brainer add to our Top MLB Prop Bets for October 18th.
