Your zodiac sign can tell you a lot about your personality, as well as the different zodiac signs you’re most likely to get along with. While they can’t tell you whether your next sports bet is going to be a winner, we wanted to find out whether your star sign could affect your chances of becoming a Premier League footballer.
We’ve looked at every 2022/23 Premier League player’s star sign to find out which star signs are most likely to become a football player in the top flight of English football.
We’ve also broken it down to each Premier League club, so you can see your chances of joining your favorite team.
Star signs most likely to become a Premier League Footballer
We’ve looked at all star signs of every player in each Premier League team to find out which star sign was the most common.
1. Virgo – (10.2% of Premier League athletes)
The most likely star sign of becoming a Premier League athlete is Virgo. 10.2% of Premier League athletes are Virgo, born between the 23rd of August and the 22nd of September. Some of the Virgo stars include Manchester City’s Jack Grealish, Chelsea’s Thiago Silva, and West Ham United’s summer signing, Lucas Paqueta.
2. Pisces – (9.42% of Premier League athletes)
Pisces is the second most likely star sign of becoming a Premier League athlete. 9.42% of athletes are born between February 19th and March 20th. Liverpool’s Andy Robertson, Newcastle United’s Allan Saint-Maximan, and Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Ruben Neves are three of 60 Premier League players who are Pisces.
3. Scorpio – (9.11% of Premier League athletes)
Scorpio completes our top three as the third most likely star sign of becoming a Premier League athlete. There are 58 Scorpio athletes, which equates to 9.11%. Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse, and Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha are some of the biggest players with the Scorpio star sign.

We’ve broken the data down to find out which star sign is most likely to join each Premier League club
1. Virgo – (6 clubs)
If you’re a Virgo, you’re in luck as this was the most likely star sign to join six Premier League clubs. Those six clubs were Brentford, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Southampton and Wolverhampton Wanderers. However, in five of those six clubs, Virgo was the joint most likely with other star signs.
2. Gemini/Pisces/Aries – (4 clubs)
Second place is joint between Gemini, Pisces, and Aries. These three star signs were the most likely to join four Premier League Clubs. Gemini was the most likely to join Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Brighton and Hove Albion, Pisces was the most likely to join Newcastle United, Bournemouth, Brentford, and Manchester United, and Aries was the most likely to join Southampton, Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace, and Fulham.
3. Scorpio/Capricorn/Aquarius/Libra – (3 clubs)
Third place was shared between four star signs – Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Libra. Scorpio was most likely to join Bournemouth, Leeds United, and West Ham United, Capricorn was most likely to Liverpool, Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur, Aquarius was most likely to join Liverpool, Leeds United, and Southampton, and Libra was most likely to join Liverpool, Everton, and Brighton and Hove Albion.

How to find your chances of joining your favorite team
To find out the chances of you joining your favorite team, find your star sign using the key at the top of the table. Then find the column with your star sign, and follow it down to the row where your favorite team is.
The clubs are in alphabetical order to make it a little easier for you. Unfortunately, if you find 0.00% under your star sign, it means your team has no players under the same star sign as you.
Methodology
- We used World Football Net to find the birthday for every Premier League player. We then used Allure to find out the dates for each star sign before matching up the player’s date of birth with the star sign.
- We calculated the percentage of footballers under each star sign and used that figure to determine the star signs most likely to become a Premier League player.
- We calculated the percentage of footballers under each star sign for each team and used that figure to determine the likelihood of each star sign joining each team.
