Notifications Not Working

Not getting your breaking news notifications on your iOS or Android device?

  1. Delete the Fantasy Life App from your device.

  2. Redownload the Fantasy Life App, from the App Store or Google Play Store.

  3. Once downloaded, swipe through the new-user orientation tabs again and be sure to tap “Yes!” on the final prompt to re-authorize your notification permissions!

Check that you have allowed the Fantasy Life App to send push notifications in your phone settings:

  • On your iOS device: “Settings” > “Notifications” > “Fantasy Life App.” Toggle “Allow Notifications” to the green “on” position, and tap to enable notifications on the Lock Screen, Notification Center and Banners. You can also enable sounds and badges here to make sure you never miss an alert.

  • On your Android Device: “Apps” > “Settings” > “MORE” > “Application Manager” > “Downloaded” > “Fantasy Life App.” Check the appropriate checkboxes to enable notifications from Fantasy Life App.

If that doesn’t work (or if you recently updated your operating system) your old settings may still be cached. To solve for that: 

  1. Tap the “Profile” button in the bottom right of your screen

  2. Click “Edit” in the top right corner of your screen

  3. Scroll down and tap “Log Out”

  4. Delete the app from your device

  5. Re-install the app from the App Store or Play Store

  6. Swipe through the Pro Tips you’re shown upon opening the app and authorize notifications as normal
