Arsenal vs. Tottenham prediction, odds, line: Huge Showdown Between North London Rivals

Tottenham Arsenal Odds

Two of the Premier League’s fiercest rivals are set to renew hostilities in the North London Derby as Arsenal hits the road to face Tottenham. It’s a big game every time these two teams face off, but there’s added stakes in this contest. Arsenal sit four points clear of Tottenham for the final Champions League spot so they can sew up that spot with a win and all but punch their ticket with a draw. Either of those results also mean Tottenham’s Champions League hopes are all but over so that would be an added bonus for the Gunners.

Tottenham vs Arsenal Moneyline Prediction

Arsenal comes into the game in better form having won four straight games, but Tottenham is coming off one of their best results of the season earning a 1-1 draw on the road at title-hopefuls Liverpool. Spurs got a good 3-1 win prior to that over Leicester to right the ship after a couple of poor performances against Brentford and Brighton. You can’t parse anything from the first fixture between these two teams, a 3-1 Arsenal win, because it happened in September which is practically ages ago. You have to go back to 2014 for Arsenal’s last win in a league game at Tottenham. Given that Tottenham’s Champions League hopes rest on getting a win here, they should come out flying and play with an edge.

Pick: Tottenham +125

Tottenham vs Arsenal Total Prediction

These are two solid defensive teams that rank fourth and tied for fifth in goals allowed and fourth and sixth in expected goals allowed. They both pale in comparison in scoring compared to the top three in the league, but there’s still plenty of firepower on both sides. Given the desperation Tottenham should be playing with, that should open up opportunities for Arsenal on the other end of the field and hopefully it’s an open game. It could be a cagey affair, but sitting back and trying to counter attack would be risky for Tottenham in a game they need to win so expect some end-to-end football.

Pick: Over 2.5 (-118)
