Were through almost two full series and the Hurricanes have still yet to lose a home game or win a road game. Will that trend continue tonight? Antti Raanta is coming off his worst start of the series and probably his worst of the playoffs allowing 3 goals on 13 shots before getting pulled. Raanta has been much better at home with a 1.00 GAA at home in the playoffs so far. The Rangers have been better in Carolina than Boston was and it feels like they have a better shot tonight than the Bruins did. I’m back on FanDuel for my odds tonight. If you haven’t signed up with them yet you can do so HERE and get a risk free bet up to $1,000. Hope everyone enjoys their Memorial Day! Onto the picks.

Teuvo Teravainen Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (+110)

I’ve talked about it before, but Carolina has a whole lot of really good players, but not really one bonafide superstar. Teravainen is one of those really good players. He’s responsible on both ends of the ice, plays on the PP and PK. In Game 7 vs Boston he had his second highest ice time of the playoffs at 17:58 and tied for the most shifts he’s played 24. He’s the type of player that will likely see more ice time in a Game 7 because he can be trusted and has experience in those spots. In games he’s had 23+ shifts this postseason. he’s gone over 2.5 SOG 3 of 4 times. I expect him to get plenty of ice time tonight in all scenarios, so let’s take his over 2.5 at plus money.

Mika Zibanejad Over 0.5 Goals +235

This was the only one that hit for me in Game 6, and I’m going back to the well with the odds going up to +235. Zibanejad has been the Rangers big game performer all playoffs, and their most consistent forward for years now. He closed out the Pittsburgh series with a combined 3 goals in Games 6 & 7. He’s scored goals in 4 straight games for the Rangers in this series. In Game 7 vs the Penguins he racked up just under 25 minutes of ice time, and he should play a similar amount tonight. At +235, I love the value for the Rangers big time player to make a big time play.
