It truly is a shame the Western Conference Final had to end in just four games. I can’t remember a sweep ever being that wildly entertaining. Game 4 last night had the offensive pace of Game 1 but also had some effort defensively thrown in. Here’s to hoping the Oilers hang onto Mike Smith this offseason so we can see him hilariously give away their season with soft playoff goals again.

Tampa and the Rangers get going again tonight for Game 4, and all of a sudden the Lightning have life. They looked dead down 2-0 in the middle of Game 3, but after storming back to win 3-2 late they have some life. It’ll be really interesting to see how each team comes out of the gate tonight. I’m on FanDuel for my bets tonight. If you haven’t signed up with them yet, do so HERE and get $200 in free bets when you place your first $5 wager. Onto the bets.

Mika Zibanejad Over 0.5 Power Play Points (+156) & Anytime Goal Scorer (+194)

Since game 3 of of the Hurricanes series, the Rangers power play has been on fire. In those 8 games, the Rangers have drawn 27 penalties and scored on 10 of those power plays good for a 37% clip with the man advantage. Of those 10 power play goals, Mika Zibanejad has factored in on 7 of them with 5 goals and 2 assists. So far in this series, Zibanejad has 3 power play points in 3 games, and has recorded points on the man advantage in 2 of the 3 games. Zibanejad has been the Rangers best forward so far this postseason with 24 points in 17 games and some very timely goals. He has goals in 7 of the Rangers last 8 games. I love backing him on the power play and sprinkling on his anytime goal scorer prop.

Nikita Kucherov Anytime Goal Scorer (+146) & Steven Stamkos Anytime Goal Scorer (+150)

I couldn’t decide between these two who I wanted to back, so I figured why not both. Stamkos and Kucherov are the Lightning’s two best forwards. Stamkos has 4 goals in his last 5 games. Kucherov has scored in each of his last two games. As playoff series get deeper, the best teams tend to get better, and for the Lightning Kucherov and Stamkos are usually the driving force of that. The Lightning were close to dead on the mat down 2-0 in Game 3 and the Rangers let them back into it giving them live. I think Tampa takes advantage tonight led by their two best players.
