And just like that, we’re down to a best-of-3 series between the Lightning and Rangers. Tampa really seems to be finding themselves and their game after a slow start in Games 1 & 2 in New York when they had that long layoff from sweeping the Panthers. It might sound simple, but the best players on Tampa have been their best players the last two games. Kucherov has goals in 3 straight games. Steven Stamkos had 3 points in the 2 games back home. And Andrei Vasilevskiy is starting to heat up. Very interested to see what happens tonight as the Lightning are finding their form while the Rangers have been outstanding at home. I’ll be on FanDuel for my bets tonight. Sign up with them HERE and when you place your first wager of $5, you’ll get $200 in free bets win or lose. Onto the picks.

Bet $5 get $200 in free bets win or lose on all the White Sox vs Dodgers odds

Nikita Kucherov Anytime Goal Scorer (+164)

One of two bets today that I’m going back to the well on, but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. Kucherov has goals in 3 straight games now, and as the series gets deeper he usually gets better. Kucherov is averaging over 4 shots on goal per game, so he’s certainly getting his chances. He’s been absolutely lethal on the man advantage with 5 of his 7 playoff goals coming with the man advantage, and Tampa’s gotten their chances there this postseason. The odds are a little better today than they were in Game 4 when he scored, so I like taking a chance here again on the Lightning’s biggest offensive weapon to score.

Mika Zibanejad Anytime Goal Scorer (+186)

Again I’m going back to the well here. Of active players, Zibanejad is 2nd in the playoffs with 10 goals sitting behind just Nathan MacKinnon’s 11. He’s scored 7 goals in his last 9 games and in each of the Rangers last 6 home games. Zibanejad has been the Rangers best forward and probably their best player not named Shesterkin. Coming back home I like him to factor in for the Rangers in what’s pretty much a must-win scenario for them tonight. Zibanejad 1st Goal Scorer is +1400 on FanDuel and I definitely think that’s worth a sprinkle. He’s been their catalyst and spark plug most of the playoffs and 14/1 is solid value for one of the game’s best goal scorers.

Mika Zibanejad Conn Smythe Winner (+3800)

This is a bit of a longshot, and quite honestly I don’t even think the Rangers make it out of this series. But if they do, it’ll be on the back of Igor Shesterkin, Mika Zibanejad, and Adam Fox. Shesterkin’s Conn Smythe odds are at +1200 which are solid, but maybe not worth it at this point. Fox and Zibanejad both sit at over +3000 on FanDuel with the latter being at +3800. If the Rangers get out of this series, it’s because Shesterkin plays great and likely Zibanejad chips in with some big goals like he has all playoffs. Then you’d have a Conn Smythe ticket with the leading goal scorer in the playoffs at +3800 heading into the Stanley Cup Final. You could hang onto it, flip it on PropSwap or even hedge a bit. But at +3800 he’s worth a flier.
