We’ve made it to the conference finals of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The two time defending champion Tampa Bay Lightning meet the New York Rangers in the East. And, it’s the Edmonton Oilers against the Colorado Avalanche in the West. These playoffs like most years in the NHL have been anything but predictable and all four teams have a real shot to reach the Stanley Cup Finals. One team in particular is the series underdog but owned their regular season matchups against their opponent. Let’s take a trip to MSG where the New York Rangers are in their first conference finals since 2015. Here is my PropSwap Ticket of the day.
NHL PropSwap Ticket of the day
New York Rangers to win Eastern Conference – 1.53/1 ($83.00) $210.00
The Rangers have not made it easy on themselves the first two rounds but are here none the less. They had to beat the Penguins three straight times to reach round two. Here, they had to defeat the no.1 seed Carolina two straight games in order to reach this point. They have a hot goalie who gave up more than 2 goals just twice to the Hurricanes and this team is loaded with talent.
They get a Lightning team who New York is very familiar with and who they went 3-0 against during the regular season. This should be a tightly contested series with both teams boasting tremendous goal tending. The fact that this isn’t a pick ’em is somewhat surprising to me, so anything over even is great value to me. The Rangers are around 1.5/1 at sportsbooks so this offers a slight boost in value.
