We’re about half way through the 2nd round of the NBA Playoffs. Every series has been closely contested but out West, it seems a traditional power, is just warming up. They finished the year 3rd in the Western Conference but the Warriors are looking like their old self again. As they heat up, their odds continue to shrink but some value can still be had over at Propswap. We’re headed to the Bay Area for my ticket of the Day.
Ticket of the Day
Golden State Warriors to Win the Western Conference – 1.10/1 ($4,625.00) $9,699.53
The high octane Warriors have re-emerged as favorites out West. They dominated Denver and potential league MVP Nikola Jokic beating them in five games. Now, Golden State is up 2-1 on no.2 Memphis and the Grizzlies may be without superstar Ja Morant for game 4. Even more telling into how good they’ve been is that both playoff losses have come by exactly five points. And more importantly, it took MVP type performances from Jokic (37 pts, 8 reb, 6 ast) and Morant (47 pts, 8 reb, 8 ast) in order to defeat the Warriors.
This team isn’t just Steph chucking up ridiculous three’s, or Klay catching fire. Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole have been spectacular and Draymond is still their new age Barkley. Golden State is now as low as -120 and around even money everywhere else to make the Finals. They’ve won 11 of their last 13 games, and have the experience necessary to avoid a let down. If you believe the Warriors are primed to play for another championship, oh, and have an exorbitant amound of money lying around, this ticket is for you.
