Our last entry was taken off the board after a rainout between the Reds and Guardians. Thank goodness for that, as the Mets scored 2 runs in the first inning against Jordan Hicks which would have blown our chances at three winners in a row. The MLB schedule is light today and there are only three-night games on the slate. Makes no difference to me, let’s complete our winning streak! Here are my MLB PrizePicks Props of the day for Thursday, May 19th.

MLB Props of the Day – Thursday, May 19th

D’Backs & Cubs SP – Under 0.5 First Inning Runs Allowed

  • Marcus Stroman for the Cubs has allowed a first-inning run in one of his five starts this year
  • Looked great his last time out going 7 innings, giving up just two hits and no runs to Milwaukee
  • D’Backs starter Zac Gallen has been awesome this year allowing a total of 4 runs and ZERO in innings 1-3 & gave up just a single run in the 4th back on May 14th against Chicago
  • Arizona’s lowest team BA is in the first inning

Marcus Semien – Over 4.5 Hitter Fantasy Score

  • Started this year slow but has reached base safely in four straight games
  • Has recorded a hit in three of his last four games
  • Astros starter Framber Valdez is allowing a ton of base runners this year allowing close to a hit/inning and almost 2.5 BB per 9
  • Oh, and although Framber doesn’t really give up HR, Semien is overdue for one having not circled the bases all season after crushing 45 last year.
