Best MLB Prop Bets: Top MLB Prop Bets for September 29th

San Fran Giants Betsperts Media & Technology Top MLB Prop Bets for September 29th

Yesterday was a nice bounceback effort for us going 2-1 on our Top MLB Props. Matt Olson helped us out in a big way going 2-for-3 with a HR against the Nats. Unfortunately our Gallen/Verlander pitchers duel fell just short of the First 3 Inning under as the D’Backs scored 2 runs in the 1st, only 1 of which was earned. We’ll look to build on that with tonight’s smaller slate and if you want to bet along with us, sign up with any of our affiliates below and take advantage of their welcome offers. Giants 1st Half -1.5 & Under 4.5 vs Rockies (+370, FanDuel)

Alright, not a ton on the board today that I love. Not a whole lot of teams still playing for much in action today, but we do have some players. One of which is Carlos Rodon, who in all likelihood will be the top pitcher on the free agent market this winter and undoubtedly wants to finish the season on a high note.

It’s Rodon against Ryan Feltner who owns an ERA just under 6.00 this season, so the Giants have a heavy advantage in the pitching matchup. The Rockies lineup never hits as well away from home and the Oracle Park is the definition of a pitchers park. It’s a bit of a longshot, but nothing else on the board is catching my eye today so let’s take a shot here.

Eric Lauer Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-105, BetMGM)

Lauer has struggled mightily his last four times on the bump. He’s allowed 5+ hits in all four, giving up 4+ runs twice, and has been pulled after 2 2/3 innings in each of his last two starts. The lefty has also failed to strikeout 6 or more hitters in five consecutive, and in just 1 of his last 11 outings.

This Marlins may not scare anyone but they’ve been pretty good at putting the ball in play of late. They’ve allowed just 2 starters to reach 6+ K’s over their last 11 games and Lauer is not a strikeout pitcher. This is evidenced by the previous streak of games and the fact he has gone over this number in just 8 of his 27 total starts in 2022.

Milwaukee fighting for the last wild-card spot, will have a very short leash. He’ll likely make us sweat this out by K’ing the first five batters of the game, but I’m confident enough to add this to our Top MLB Prop Bets for September 29th.
