Best MLB Prop Bets: Top MLB Prop Bets for September 28th

Justin Verlander looks to keep the Snakes offense at bay and help up hit one of our Top MLB Prop Bets for September 28th

Tuesday was a rough one for us, but like we mentioned, end of season baseball betting is hard so we’ll move on. The NL East Parlay went just 1-2 as Marcus Stroman figured it out at home against the Phillies and Carlos Carrasco got touched up by the Marlins. Although Atlanta pulled off the 8-2 win, Austin Riley wasn’t part of the fun going 0-4 and in Toronto, Aaron Judge had 4 BB in 5 plate appearances not really getting a chance to go deep. Diamondbacks vs Astros 1st 3 Innings Under 1.5 (+110, Caesars)

Credit to the Astros, they’ve had the AL West locked up for quite awhile and hold a 6.5-game lead for the best record in the AL but they haven’t really put things into cruise control. Justin Verlander now looks like a lock for the AL Cy Young, he’s on the mound today against the Diamondbacks who have struggled at the plate most of the season.

Verlander opposes Arizona ace Zac Gallen who might be the best pitcher in baseball that people don’t talk about enough, and he’s been lights out most of the season. Gallen hasn’t allowed more than 3 ER since July 8th. Two of baseball’s best pitchers on the mound, a late season matchup that doesn’t really matter, let’s take plus-money that that starters cruise through the lineup once.

Matt Olson Hit (-185, Draftkings) & HR (+305, Caesars)

The Braves and Olson close out their season series with Washington tonight and they should go out with a bang. Atlanta has put up 8 runs in each of the last two games against the Nats with Olson recording a hit in both and going yard on Monday. Tonight they face Josiah Gray who has allowed a Major League worst 37 HR on the season and is giving up 2.3 round trippers per 9 innings. All great signs that Matt and pretty much everyone else on Atlanta are great prop plays tonight.

Olson has hit Washington ok this season but most importantly has recorded a hit in 14 of their 18 previous matchups. He’s also hit 4 HR during these games against them and after going 17 games without a dinger, might be on the verge of bunching some together. This is more probable with Gray on the mound for Washington who has surrendered at least 1 HR in 22 of his 27 starts and has been hit hard in September allowing 4 ER or more in all four starts. I had to add a Braves player to our Top MLB Prop Bets for September 28th so let’s hope it’s Olson who goes off.
