Best MLB Prop Bets: Top MLB Prop Bets for September 22nd

Guardians have dominated the White Sox in Chicago but can they do it again. Find out with our Top MLB Prop Bets for September 22nd

While the last few days were some big wins for us, Wednesday was not with an 0-4 record. Aaron Judge smoked two doubles in a but wasn’t able to go deep, Xander Bogaerts was held without an RBI in a 5-1 loss, Lance Lynn and the White Sox defense doomed the 1st Half under against the Guardians, and Jesus Luzardo surpassed 7 K’s for just the 2nd time over his 13 starts. We’re back at it today and if you want to play along with us, sign up with any of the sportsbooks below and cash in on their welcome offers. Onto Brian and I’s Top MLB Prop Bets for September 22nd.

Justin Verlander to Record a Win vs Orioles (-104, Caesars)

I searched high and low for a way to find some value on Justin Verlander against the Orioles, and I think I finally found it. Despite his injury, Justin Verlander has re-established himself as the frontrunner for the AL Cy Young award and in his first start back from the IL he tossed 6.0 scoreless innings against Oakland. In fact, Verlander hasn’t allowed an earned run in any of his last three starts, one of which was a 3.0 inning effort against Baltimore (he left the start early with his injury). If Verlander can go the 5.0 innings, I think we’ll be fine and I really like the value here against an Orioles team that is running out of gas.

Guardians 1st Half Result vs White Sox (+105, FanDuel)

The White Sox are unofficially dead in the AL Central, and the Guardians are putting them away. With the Sox needing a sweep to stay in the race, Cleveland jumped out and took the first two games in the series scoring a combined 18 runs. The White Sox have been going through the motions, and at the plate they really struggle with strikeout pitchers. Enter Shane Bieber who is throwing for Cleveland.

Cleveland jumped out to an early 6-0 lead last night and cruised to a 1st Half win. They’ve hit the 1st Half result in both games so far this series. I like Bieber and the Guardians a lot early in this one. Johnny Cueto has been great all year for the Sox and will do his best to keep them in it, but I think Bieber is too much early, and +105 value is too good to pass up.

George Kirby Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+105, PointsBet)

I should have taken the over with Luzardo yesterday at plus money so I’m not making the same mistake two days in a row. George Kirby was featured as part of our plays with an underpriced prop last week and the sportsbooks are at it once again. Kirby has been nothing short of dominant since the beginning of July pitching to a 2.09 ERA while striking out 74 over 64.2 innings during his 12 starts.

He’s gone over this prop in two consecutive outings while also doing so in four of his last six, and in seven of the 12 starts since July. And tonight he gets an Oakland team who he’s K’d 24 times in three starts, going over this prop all three times. The price is right and he’s cashed for us before. I’m adding Kirby to our Top MLB Prop Bets for September 22nd with confidence.
