Picking MLB games is a complex and tiring task with shaky bullpens, weird extra inning rules, and the natural state of the game. One way to attack the sport and have fun while you’re at it is by betting MLB player props. We were really close, about two feet to be exact, from a big day yesterday but ultimately took an L for the evening. Best Baseball Player Props for July 29th
Aaron Judge Over 0.5 RBI (+105, DraftKings) Bet 1u to win 1.05u
Judge has slammed the gavel down lately batting .391 with 9 HR and 18 RBI over the Yankees’ last 12 games. He’s hit a homer in seven and recorded an RBI in nine of those twelve contests. Aaron has also ruled over KC this year batting .333 with 4 HR and 7 RBI in just three games. And lastly, Kris Bubic struggled in his only outing against New York this year giving up 3 runs and 2 HR in just 5 innings back in April. There aren’t many hitters hotter than the AL’s MVP front- runner and I’d be a fool not to stay aboard the money train.
Nolan Arenado RBI (+105, Fanduel) Bet 3u to win 3.15u
Nolan is Batting .375 with 4 HR and 10 RBI during the Cardinals’ 17 games played in July. He’s hitting RHP really well to the tune of a .307 BA with 43 of his 59 RBI coming against righties so far in 2022. Arenado has also hit tonight’s opposing starter, Anibal Sanchez, pretty well going 4-for-10 with 4 RBI in his career against him. Sanchez has made just two starts this season and has allowed 3+ runs going no more than 5 innings in both of them. Working in Nolan’s favor, even more, is that the Nationals have the league’s 2nd worst team ERA at 5.13 and are allowing a league-high 5.44 runs/gm. Batting 4th in this Cardinals lineup should present some opportunities with guys on base tonight, and I fully expect Arenado to capitalize against Sanchez and Washington.
