Picking MLB games is a complex and tiring task with shaky bullpens, weird extra inning rules, and the natural state of the game. One way to attack the sport and have fun while we’re at it, is by betting MLB player props. We’ve had a couple of great days in the player prop market so let’s try and keep the winning ways going. I shopped the odds and found a couple of my favorites for today’s schedule of games Check out my choices for the best baseball player props for July 28th.

Best Baseball Player Props for July 28th
Shohei Ohtani – Hit a HR (+420, Caesars) Bet 1u to win 4.20u & Over 0.5 Hits (-200, BetMGM) Bet 3u to win 1.5u
Ohtani comes into tonight’s tilt against Texas having recorded a hit in 7 of the last 10 games. He’ll be on the mound tonight as well but that hasn’t affected him at the plate. He’s started 16 games this season and has recorded at least one hit in 11 of them. Tonight it could be Sho-time as Ohtani and the Angels face-off against Rangers starter Spencer Howard. Howard is allowing a ridiculous 3.55 HR/9 on the season and has given up 4 HR over his last 14 ⅔ innings. Over 75% of Shohei’s homers are off RHP and he’s facing a pitcher putting it on a tee for opposing hitters.

Ty France – Hit a HR (+625, Caesars) Bet 1u to win 6.25u & Record an RBI (+195, PointsBet) Bet 1u to win 1.95u
Ooh la la, Ty France has been a huge surprise for the Mariners this year. He’s currently hitting .309 with 13 HR and 51 RBI while also having the 2nd best WAR on the team. Ty has been hot at the plate recently, batting .368 with 3 HR and 6 RBI over the last nine games. He and Seattle travel to Houston to face the Astros and Jose Urquidy tonight who has been rocked by the Mariners in 2022.
Urquidy has started four games against Seattle and has allowed 5 runs in three of the four outings and a total of 5 HR. A lot of that damage has come off the bat of Ty who’s dominated the RHP, going 6-for-13 (.462) with 3 HR and 7 RBI against him just this year. France has also hit the ‘Stros really well over his career having a .350 BA and 4 HR with 11 RBI in 15 games. Ty’s success against tonight’s starter, and the team overall are more than enough to warrant a wager on these outrageously generous odds.
