MLB Player Props: Best Baseball Player Props for July 26th

George Kirby pitching against the LA Angels

Picking MLB games is a complex and tiring task with shaky bullpens, weird extra inning rules, and the natural state of the game. One way to attack the sport and have fun while we’re at it is by betting MLB player props. With that in mind, I found a couple of my favorites for today’s schedule of games and gave a quick explanation as to why I’m betting them below. Check out my choices for the Best Baseball Player Props for July 26th.

A.J. Pollock Over 0.5 RBI (+150, DraftKings) Bet 1u to win 1.5u

Here’s to hoping A.J. stays hot for a third straight night. Pollock has multiple RBI in two straight games after going seven consecutive without knocking in anyone. Luckily for him and the White Sox, they’re facing one of baseball’s most generous pitchers to opposing offenses tonight, German Marquez.

A.J. has hit Marquez well going 9-for-22 (.409) against him over his career. Marquez has also regressed in 2022 having the league’s 2nd worst ERA at 5.47. He’s allowing a ton of base-runners with a 1.437 WHIP (3rd worst), and he’s allowed 3 or more runs in seven of his nine starts in Colorado. With some good hitters in front of him, a couple of confidence-building games behind him, and facing a very hittable pitcher, Pollock is poised for a nice night.

George Kirby Under 5.5 Strikeouts (-130, Fanduel) Bet 1.5u to win 1.15u

Kirby has shown flashes of brilliance during his rookie season and allowed just 2 runs against these Rangers back in June. During that game, he only struck out 3 Texas batters and has stayed under tonight’s prop in five of his last eight starts. Another reason a lower than normal total is likely on tap is the fact this will be Kirby’s first start since July 8th and will likely be closely monitored by the team. The Rangers have K’d a decent amount this season but only one starter has 6 or more strikeouts against them in their last six games.
