Picking MLB games is a complex and tiring task with shaky bullpens, weird extra inning rules, and the natural state of the game. One way to attack the sport and have fun while you’re at it, is by betting MLB player props. We ended last week by trying to go big on Friday which resulted in a small net loss on the day but that’s alright because we still finished the week up over 7 units. It’s a new week so let’s wipe the slate clean and try to start another profitable run. Here are my choices for the Best Baseball Player Props for August 15th.

Best Baseball Player Props for August 15th
Franmil Reyes Hit (-155, Fanduel) Bet 2u win 1.30u & HR (+350, Fanduel) Bet 1u win 3.50u
The Franimal is back!… it seems. Since debuting with the Cubs on August 9th he’s 6-for-17 with a homer and 3 RBI in four games. Reyes has recorded at least 1 hit in all four games for Chicago and looks more like his 2021 self. Tonight he and the Cubs are facing my favorite team to attack with hitter props, the Washington Nationals.
You’re probably tired of hearing me say this but the Nats are a terrible pitching team who have now allowed over 20 more HR than the 2nd worst pitching staff on the year. Taking the hill for them tonight is Josiah Gray who’s given up a league-worst 29 HR on the season and is allowing 2.3 HR/9. Franmil is 2-for-3 off Gray in his career and is seeing the ball well. One elevated heater and the Franimal is rounding the bases.
Aaron Judge HR (+250, Fanduel) Bet 1u win 2.5u
Alright, I’ll admit this is definitely influenced by me being in New York to visit family and attending tonight’s game. However, looking past that it’s easy to see why betting him to HR, no matter the odds could really be a daily wager. He’s hit 46 bombs already, and is hitting one every 9 at-bats! Home/away, LHP/RHP, Day/Night, it hasn’t mattered for him this season.
Working in our favor for tonight is he went hitless the last two games, and Aaron has slammed down the gavel four times in 10 games against the Rays already this season. I’m hoping to see some fireworks while at the game, and in particular, another Aaron Judge homer. I simply had to add this to my Best Baseball Player Props for August 15th.
