Picking MLB games is a complex and tiring task with shaky bullpens, weird extra inning rules, and the natural state of the game. One way to attack the sport and have fun while you’re at it, is by betting MLB player props. HE’S ON FIRE! Make it 6-0 and an awesome +9.62 units so far this week. Let’s try to go into the weekend with a couple more winners as I bring you my choices for the Best Baseball Player Props for August 12th.

Best Baseball Player Props for August 12th
Juan Soto HR (+370, Caesars) Bet 1u to win 3.7u & RBI (+155, DraftKings) Bet 1u to win 1.55u
He has only one dinger since joining the Padres but like us, is on fire at the plate. Soto is batting .379 with a hit in eight of his first nine games with San Diego. And he’s 5-for-9 over the last three games including his first HR for his new team. The best part though, he’s playing his first game in Washington since being traded.
Juan and the Friars get a Nationals pitching staff who as I’ve mentioned MULTIPLE times, sucks! They’re starting Cory Abbott who gave up 4 HR in Philadelphia last week and has given up 12 HR in just 30 career innings (3.6 HR/9). Lefties are also hitting over .300 with a slugging % close to 700 off him since debuting last season. Soto is always a threat to go deep which brings at least RBI with it and tonight is set up for him to do so.
Josh Donaldson HR (+390, Fanduel) Bet 1u to win 3.9u & RBI (+135, Fanduel) Bet 2u to win 2.7u
As a Yankees fan, I can openly admit that Donaldson has been a disappointment in the betters box. That said, he’s really picked it up since August 1st, batting over .300 and slugging close to .400 over the nine games since then. He and the Yanks face Nathan Eovaldi tonight who is allowing the 2nd most HR/9 at 1.9 and has given up a total of 20 homers on the season.
Donaldson went 1-for-3 this year and has gone deep twice against Eovaldi during his career. Eovaldi will be pitching very carefully to Aaron Judge and Anthony Rizzo who absolutely destroy him, batting in front of Donaldson, meaning Josh could/should see some situations with runners on base and some good pitches to hit. He’s trending in the right direction and we have some units to play with so this made sense.
