Dodgers -1.5 (+105) at Cardinals

These two teams have split the first two games of the series with each squad picking up q 7-6 win. The Dodgers trailed 6-0 last night only to fight all the way back for their 7-6 win. The Cardinals are just 5-8 in their last 13 games and go up against Tyler Anderson who’s been really good for L.A. this year sporting an ERA just above 3.00. Dakota Hudson has been fine thus far this season, but like the Cardinals as a whole has been a bit of a roller coaster. I like the value here with plus-money on the Dodgers.

New York Mets -1.5 (+134) at Cubs

You’re getting some value on the Mets here because on paper the pitching matchup certainly favors the Cubs. Keegan Thompson has been really good this year and has pitched well against some very solid lineups. Carlos Carrasco throws for the Mets and has had an up and down year, but was quite good his last two starts. The Mets are riding high after a big series win against their red-hot division rival Braves on the road. The Cubs looks like a team desperately in need of the All-Star break as they’ve lost 6 in a row. Two teams heading in opposite directions, I like the Mets with the value.
