Men’s 2022 Final Four Odds, Picks, & Predictions

2022 Final Four

This year’s NCAA Tournament has been one for the ages and set’s up to be one of the best Final Four’s ever. Baylor lost to North Carolina in the Round of 32 becoming the fifth consecutive defending champion not to reach the Sweet 16. Saint Peter’s became the first 15 seed to reach the Elite 8. And as if the story was pre-destined, Duke and North Carolina meet for the first time in the Final Four during what just so happens to be Coach K’s final season. It’s been an incredible couple of weeks and has the potential to end even better at the betting window for me. Check out the Final Four odds, my picks and who I’ll be rooting for on Saturday.

Final Four Odds and Picks

The 2022 Final Four is a who’s who of college basketball programs and is literally a battle of blue-bloods. Villanova and Kansas get things tipped off at around 6 pm et on Saturday. Following them is possibly the most anticipated Final Four game of all time, North Carolina against Duke.

2 Villanova vs. 1 Kansas

This game took a hit when Justin Moore went down late in Villanova’s Elite 8 win against Houston. Had the Wildcats been at full strength, this would probably have been closer to a pick-em and a little more difficult to pick. The reality is, Nova will be undermanned and undersized this Saturday. Meanwhile, Kansas has seen Remy Martin return to his ASU form, and Ochai Agbaji finally woke up against Miami. The Jayhawks have a much deeper team and will be the best offense Villanova has faced during March Madness. Even with an Arcidiacono playing significant minutes, I just don’t see the Wildcats keeping pace with Kansas.

Pick: Kansas -4.5

8 North Carolina vs. 2 Duke

Are you kidding me?! I don’t normally believe in conspiracies but, I mean, for real? Whether we or I like it or not, it’s happening. Coach K’s last season, North Carolina vs. Duke in the Final Four. The Tar Heels are simply on fire right now and have multiple guys playing their best basketball. Brady Manek has been unconscious from deep and Armondo Bacot is dominating down low. Duke is also playing great with all five starters averaging close to or over double digits in the tourney. The storylines for this game are plentiful and legacies are on the line.

These two split the season series with both winning on each other’s home courts by double digits. At this point, I’m either betting Duke -4 or taking UNC ML +162. That said, I really don’t care who wins but I do expect a very fast-paced, high-scoring game. Both regular-season matchups reached totals over this one, and neither boasts a defense to be wary of.

Pick: Over 151

Regardless of which Final Four odds you like, I hope we see great games. March Madness is my favorite sporting event of all and it’s always bitter-sweet watching Final Four Saturday. Enjoy the games, cash those tickets, and LETS GO Kansas! (I hold a 14/1 outright😬).
