What makes PrizePicks stand out in the DFS Industry?
PrizePicks is a unique fantasy sports platform that combines the best aspects of a DFS game with sports bets into one package. PrizePicks members are presented with lots of options and many players from different sports. You can decide on the option over or under if fantasy points are selected, or different stats like points or yardage gained or points. Afterwards, you choose whichever of two players you think would be better or worse. The multiplier payouts vary with players chosen. Fantasy players love the new daily fantasy sports format that PrizePicks has introduced.
How does PrizePicks work?
PrizePicks is a daily fantasy sports site, but the website offers much more than most DFS sites. With PrizePicks, you select whether a player or team will go Over/Under their projected total for that stat (prop) or fantasy score. You build an entry by selecting anywhere from 2-to-5 player/team props. PrizePicks offers team and player props from all the major U.S. sports, international sports including cricket, and even Esports. Unlike other dfs sites, entries can incorporate multiple sports in a single entry. An example would be selecting a college football player prop and combining it with Lamar Jackson‘s projected fantasy points. Winnings are determined by how much was risked on any particular entry and the number of props included.

PrizePicks Promotions
The PrizePicks customer service team is great and tries to keep their users engaged through ongoing promotions which often give away free money.
Taco Tuesday’s
On Tuesday’s, PrizePicks offers “Taco’s” which are discounted player props which have a higher probability of hitting. There are entry limits with these and are specific to each individual “taco”. These are great additions to any entry as you’re more likely to hit a winner with these discounted props included in your entry.
Free Squares
They routinely offer “free squares” which are props set at a projection almost guaranteed to be successful. An example of this would be setting Tom Brady‘s passing yards prop at just 0.5 yards. Barring a catastrophe, TB12 should go over this number easily making it as close to a guaranteed winner as you can get. Like the above-mentioned “Taco’s” there are prop-specific limits on these. Include these free squares in any entry for an increased chance at creating a winning entry.
Free contests
In addition to any promo codes used at sign up, Taco’s, and Free Squares, sometimes PrizePicks offers Risk-Free entries. These are for both new users and existing PrizePicks users. It is exactly as it sounds and players are able to create an entry for the stipulated entry max at no risk to themselves. Any money lost in the entry, up to the max fee, will be credited to the players promo balance for continued use on the PrizePicks app.
Types of Contests
There are two types of contests or entries on PrizePicks, both with varying payout structures based on the number of players included in each entry.
PrizePicks “Power Play”
A “Power Play” requires an entry, regardless of the number of props, to have all picks be correct in order to win. The payouts for Power Play entries are as follows
- 2-pick Power Play = 3x entry fee
- 3-pick Power Play = 5x entry fee
- 4-pick Power Play = 10x entry fee
PrizePicks “Flex Play”
A “Flex Play” allows players to create entries including 3-to-5 props. In a Flex Play 3-to-4 prop entry, one pick can be incorrect and still a winner. A 5-prop Flex Play allows for two incorrect picks while still paying out as a winner. The payouts for Flex Play entries are as follows
- 3-pick Flex Play with two correct predictions = 1.25x entry fee
- 3-pick Flex Play with three correct predictions = 2.25x entry fee
- 4-pick Flex Play with three correct predictions = 1.5x entry fee
- 4-pick Flex Play with four correct predictions = 5x the entry fee
- 5-pick Flex Play with three correct predictions = .4x entry fee
- 5-pick Flex Play with four correct predictions = 2x entry fee
- 5-pick Flex Play with four correct predictions = 2x entry fee
PrizePicks Mobile App
The PrizePicks mobile app functions as good if not better than the desktop site. You can download it from both the Google Play store and Apple app Store. Once downloaded, you’ll be prompted to either “log in” or “sign up” where you can use PrizePicks promo code ‘Betsperts’ to score a bonus. Once logged in or signed up, you’ll be taken to the ‘Board’ which shows the top props currently available to begin creating your entry from. You will not be disappointed with the PrizePicks mobile app.
PrizePicks Refer-a friend Promotion
PrizePicks has an impressive referral program for daily fantasy sports and is offering a $25 bonus for users who refer a friend or friends who enjoy daily fantasy sports. You can earn quite a few bucks by referring friends to the PrizePicks dfs site. $25 of promo funds is credited to your PrizePicks account for each friend that uses your promo code. Who doesn’t like free money?
